  4. I personally thought that the fight between the eagle owl, the wolf, and Tao was really descriptive and interesting. I also think that Tao and Ram make a good team for hunting.

  5. Tao takes only two eggs instead of 3 because he wanted the eagle-owl to keep one egg, but the other and the wolf eat. I would have taken two because I wanted the eagle-owl to keep one egg. Tao feels sorry for the eagle-owl because he took two eggs and left her only one egg to keep.
Kala did not tell Tao anything about his mother because she said that he was too young and that it was not important anymore.

  7. 1. Tao takes two eggs because he only had enough time to grab two before the eagle owl returned and tried to harm Tao and the wolf dog. Tao felt bad for the owl because it now had two enemies to face, and he was afraid that the wolf dog might hurt her.
    2. Kala tells Tao that he is to young to know about his parents, and that it’s not important.

Kala didn’t really share any information about Tao’s mother. Kala told Tao that he was to young and it didn’t matter. But now he is older and it did matter to him. He wanted to know about his mother, but Kala refuses to tell him. I think sometime in this book, Tao will figure out about his mother.

Tao took two eggs instead of three because he wanted to let the eagle owl keep an egg. I would have taken 3 eggs because it is more food. Since the season was early she would lay more so I could take the extra egg. Tao felt sorry for the Owl because she had to face a human and a hungry wolf dog at the ame time.

  11. Tao does not take all three eggs because he does not want the animal to go extinct. Another reason why is because he does not want the eagle-owl to be left without any eggs.

Tao only takes two of the three eggs because he wants the eagle owls baby grow. I would not have taken any of the eggs because I would feel bad for the eagle owl. Tao feels sorry for the eagle owl because it had three eggs to protect and was vulnerable.

  13. Tao takes two eggs from the eagle-owl's nest because he doesn't want to take more than he needs. Also, the eagle-owl will lay more eggs later in the season. Another reason he doesn't take all three eggs is because Tao wants the eagle-owl to have at least one child. He feels sorry for the owl, because with him coming to help the wolf-dog, the eagle-owl had a second enemy to face. If I had been there, I would have taken two eggs for two reasons. One would be so the owl would have at least one child left, and the other not to take more than the wolf and I need. (The same reasons as Tao, minus the egg laying later that season.)

  14. I think Tao only took two eggs from the eagle-owl because he was sympathetic, and wanted to let the eagle-owl at least have one egg that hatched. I also would’ve taken two because there’s only the wolf dog and me to feed, so two would be a reasonable amount of eggs. I thought that Tao felt sorry for the eagle-owl because she was already fighting one enemy, and now she had another to deal with.

  15. Question 1. Tao only took 2 eggs because there are only two of them and he felt bad if he was to take all the freshly laid eggs. I would have taken two eggs because it was early in the season and she would lay more eggs before the season is over. Then, then you would slowly get more eggs one by one or two by two. Tao feels bad for the eagle owl because he is taking her family and baby’s away from her to eat them all.

    Question 1
Tao only took two eggs because her care about animals ,and wanted the animal to have at least one child. He took as much as he needed. He feels bad about taken the eggs because it’s the eagle owls kids. Also he cares about animals, and wants them to be happy. I would only take 1 or 2 because I don’t eat that much, and I wouldn’t want anything to go to waste.

  18. Kala tells Tao that he is too young and that he does not need to know anything about his parents yet. She also says that it does not matter if he knows about his parents right now, but Tao thinks differently. He thinks that he should know about his parents because he says that he is older, and he also says that it does matter if he knows about his parents. Tao also really wants to know about his parents because Kala never told him anything, and he wants to know if he was born of a leader, or a hunter, so that he might be able to become a Chosen One some day.

  19. Tao only takes two eggs from the eagle owl and not all three because he wants to let the she-owl keep one of her eggs so she wouldn’t be so mad and come after them and attack. I would have taken all three because I would be hungry and it was early in the season and the she-owl would have lain more eggs later. Tao feels sorry for the eagle owl because she had two enemies to face when Tao came so it would be harder for her to protect her eggs
